Eat, Drink, Swap Stories….
The lakeside bar and restaurant are provided by the award-winning boutique hoteliers, Stay Original Company. Renowned for incredible food and drink, Tom Blake, formerly head chef at River Cottage, is at the helm and has an unrivaled network of local producers and growers. He and his team have won countless awards and are loved and lauded by critics and customers alike. Expect an innovative menu led by the finest and freshest West Country produce.
“Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” Never has the phrase been so apt as starting out on your festival adventure. Somerset mornings begin whenever you like. Sit by the lake, read the paper and enjoy the blissful breakfast. The bar and restaurant are open from very early to very late and Tom and his team will be ready whenever you are.
Throughout the Glastonbury festival you will hear the much-asked question “when are you going in?” The beauty of staying at Pilton Manor – within the festival cordon – is that you go in (and out) whenever you want. You might want to stroll in: it’s a very short walk to Gate B. Or you might want to jump in a shuttle: our 24-hour concierge will organise everything, including return pick-ups.
The whispers begin on Thursday evening. Who will be playing at William’s Green? The special guest at The Glade? All our staff have extensive knowledge of the vast festival layout and will be able to offer directions, insights, recommendations and exclusive tips.
This year is going to be the best Glastonbury festival yet, historic and historical. Immerse yourself! Ride the festival wave. And rest assured that we’ve got it all under control. All housekeeping services from valet parking to complete security are provided 24-hours a day and we open our gates from midday Wednesday until Monday morning.
